Our existing client retained us on a project basis on the fast-moving and potentially extremely damaging allegations about existing and former pupils and their alleged behaviour towards girls from a nearby and high-profile school.
We worked with the in-house team to devise a crisis communications strategy, ensuring an aligned message to all key audiences – including parents, boys, old-boys and the media, and acted as press spokespeople for the school as the crisis unfolded.
Our strategy was to communicate the positive steps taken in response to the revelations, including a public condemnation of poor behaviour, and extensive re-education of the school’s current pupils as part of their PHSE studies.
