We supported a school that was receiving unwanted media attention driven by claims to journalists and on social media from unknown sources that were either untrue or exaggerated. As a result of this, our client risked becoming a cause celebre for a number of current political issues around race, freedom of speech and British values.
We supported the senior leadership team and the sponsors of the academy trust by providing a communications approach, drafting materials including letters to parents and staff and press statements and acting as spokespeople for the Academy in both local and national media
